MYP Perennial Groundcover Provides Solutions for Growers
As with our innovative Quick Block and Quick Start programs, Mast Young Plants’ perennial groundcover program saves growers time and money. MYP will start perennial groundcover varieties in the summer and fall, overwinter them in our cold frames, and ship them retail-ready to growers in the spring. MYP grows all perennial groundcover varieties per our stringent young plant sanitation standards.
Perennial Groundcover Offers Shipping Savings
Growers can add perennial groundcover to quality for volume pricing. Growers can also add perennial groundcover to qualify for truck shipping. The final orders of the young plant season are often smaller, less likely to qualify for truck shipping, and as a result more typically ship via FedEx. However, growers can more easily meet truck pricing requirements by adding quality, retail-ready perennial groundcover to their final young plant orders.
Growers can take the perennial groundcover from our trucks right to their retail benches to sell alongside their first early spring crops.
